The double under is a jump rope movement that requires coordination, agility, and rhythm to execute properly. They are a true test of an athlete’s physical and mental capabilities, especially after performing a taxing workout. Double unders take practice, much like riding a bicycle. Unless you are a hopscotch champion, they do not come easy. Practicing them for 5-10 min at the end of each workout will help achieve multiple, unbroken double unders. Here are a few videos on how to practice the double under.
If a jump rope is not available or still can’t perform a double under, tuck jumps can be used as a substitute.
